What does your day-to-day life at HPartners look like?

I am the Principal Lawyer of HPartners Legal, where I work closely with clients to advise on employment, commercial and personal estate matters. My day-to-day involves handling legal enquiries from a broad range of clients, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing strategic legal advice aligned with our clients’ needs.

What areas of financial planning, accounting, or legal services do you specialise in?

specialise in? My practice is primarily focused on commercial and employment law, but I also advise clients on estate planning matters. This includes structuring business transactions, drafting commercial agreements, succession planning, and working with clients to ensure their personal and business affairs are aligned.

What do you love most about working with clients?

What I enjoy most about working with clients is helping them navigate challenging or complex issues and achieving outcomes that genuinely protect or advance their interests. It’s rewarding to know the advice I provide has a direct and positive impact.

Is there a memorable moment or client success story that stands out to you?

you? Success looks different depending on the client’s objective. It might be helping someone put a comprehensive estate plan in place so they can move forward with peace of mind, guiding a business through a complex commercial negotiation, or helping an employer manage a sensitive workplace issue. What’s consistent is the satisfaction that comes from achieving the outcome the client needs – whether that’s certainty, protection, or resolution.

What’s something clients might be surprised to learn about you?

I took a vacation once without checking my email every hour. Wild, I know.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?

with my partner and our beaglier, Archie. We’re happiest either exploring nature or cozying up at home with a good book or a binge-worthy TV series. I also love boxing and I am learning to crochet. is – “don’t talk to the po po!”)
